Simple bridal makeup for Indian Brides.
Not all brides want to wear bold lipsticks or heavy eye makeup with smoked outlooks. Some brides do want to have a simple, glowy skin, soft makeup look for their D-day. Here’s how you can achieve a simple bridal makeup that will complement any bride.
Keep the skin fresh & Glowy!
The key to a simple bridal makeup is to keep the skin fresh and glowy. Go for a dewy look. Keep the face very illuminating and glowy. Apply an illuminating primer or a face blurring primer. Mix your foundation with an illuminator. Go for a peachy or warm-toned blush and use a liquid highlighter.
Lightly Bronze up the face
If you want a simple bridal makeup, then instead of contouring, use a bronzer to add warmth to your face.
Fill & define your brows using a Brow Pencil
Fill in your brows following your natural brow shade, by using a brow pencil. Then carve your brows using your concealer.
Go for a soft Rosey or Gold Eye Makeup Look
Go for a soft rosy or gold eye makeup look with a smudged wing liner. Use light brown shade on the crease, gold shimmer on the lid and draw a winged liner with a gel liner and smudge it with a deep brown shade. Similarly, you can achieve it for a rose-gold look with a mauve shade on the crease.

Apply Generous Coats of Mascara
Curl your lashes and apply generous coats of waterproof mascara. I’d suggest that you use waterproof mascara because you may end up being emotional and it won’t be a pretty sight if the mascara runs down your face.
Wear a natural pair of falsies (Optional)
If you want to emphasize your eyes, then you can totally add a natural pair of falsies. Make sure that your falsies have a thin band and are lightweight.
Line your lips and fill it in!
Depending on the colour of your wedding dress, apply lipstick. But before applying your lipstick, line your lips with a similar colour lip liner.
Tip:
- If you are emphasizing more on the eyes, then go for a subtle coloured lipstick.
- If you are going for soft eye makeup, then apply a bold lipstick.
Scrub your lips, apply your lip balm and use a matte lipstick as they last long!
