Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Palette Looks & Review
I’ve always wanted the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Palette ever since I saw the vault collection because it was pretty affordable at $16. I got it from Cultbeauty during a sale for only £10 (approx Rs.930). So, here’s my full review on the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill The Vault Bling Boss Eyeshadow Palette

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Palette Review
jaclyn hill bling boss palette review
Bling Boss is a pretty purple-themed palette with jewel tones. Jaclyn calls it “an epic jewel heist of 10 creamy, super-pigmented eyeshadows”. There are 10 eyeshadows in this palette, 4 are mattes, 5 shimmers and 1 satin with metallic glitter.
How’s The Packaging?
This palette is housed in a pretty silver & white cardboard packaging with magnetic closure. It also includes a mirror. The outer cardboard packaging or the secondary packaging contains a picture Jaclyn and a note from her.
The pan size is 1″ (comparable to a 1 rupee coin) which is more than any average eye shadow palette. I found the packaging to be very sleek and compact. It’s not too bulky and not too thin, just the perfect palette to travel with.
But, I’d like to mention that the white packaging can be a little hard to maintain.
The Shades & Swatches
ROW 1:
- Bling Bling – silvery pink glitz
- Hush Hush – matte lilac mauve
- Gem – vibrant violet sheen
- Pizzazz – glistening magenta
- Mystic – matte blackberry
ROW 2:
- Spark – matte ruby red
- Glitz & Glam – shimmering rose gold
- Rockstar – matte mulberry
- Ballsy – glistening mauve pink
- Berry Treasure – glittering charcoal black
The Pigmentation & Blendability:
In Row 1, I found the mattes – hush hush to be low in pigmentation as it was not showing up well on my skin even after priming it, Mystic was pigmented but did not blend well. The shimmers were great. They were not so metallic, buttery and soft like the Beauty Glazed Lemon Palette but were none the less pretty and pigmented.
I’m impressed with Bling Bling and Pizzazz but wished Gem was a bit more metallic because it was the shade that made me buy this palette.
In Row 2, the mattes Sparks and Rockstar were very pigmented but I found Sparks to be more blendable than Rockstar. The shimmers Glitz & Glam and Ballsy were fantastic. I’m totally in love with Ballsy, it’s such a pretty duo-chrome mauvy pink shade.
Berry Treasure is a unique satin shade with metallic glitter. It’s a shade that you can totally place all over your lids for a smokey eye look. True beauty and a true gem.

Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Palette Looks
For this look, I’ve used Hush Hush on the crease, mixed Sparks and Rockstar together for the outer corner and also to deepen the crease. Ballsy on the lid with my fingers and Bling Bling on the inner corner. Lastly used Gem on the lower lash line and some glitter on the lid.

Overall, I really enjoy the shimmers in this Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Palette. I feel they are very pigmented and glittery which truly stands out, Ballsy being my favorite out of all the shimmers.
The mattes are good but a little less on pigmentation and you will definitely have to work a bit hard on blending them. The satin shade called Berry Treasure is my favorite too but I know I’ll not be wearing that much.
I had zero fallouts while using this palette which is something new for me. It did not have much of a kickback too. Even the darker shades and the satin metallic shade did not give out any fallouts. Maybe this is the 2nd version of the palette so its better in quality.
Coming to its longevity, it totally lasts for about 7-8 hours with a primer underneath.
As I’m an Indian girl and we do have a lot of weddings and festivals all around the year, I can totally see myself using these kinds of purple jewel tones. I also loved the pan size which was huge compared to my other palettes (except for NYX Perfect Filter Eyeshadow Palette).
If you like Purple Jewel-toned shadows, then you will totally love this Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Palette from The Vault Collection.
