My Experience with Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer
Packaging:
This Lakme primer has a very simple black squeezy tube packaging with a silver cap. The packaging is fuzz-free and easy to carry around. It also contains an outer secondary packaging. Overall, the tube totally matches Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation.
Colour, Texture & Consistency:
This primer is pink in colour and also has pink undertones to it. It has a thick mousse-like consistency but it is not as thick as the Loreal Base Magique. It has a thinner consistency than the Loreal one. It comes out as a thick whipped cream with a smooth texture.
Once applied, it fills into the pores and gives a slight pink tint which is great for brightening your face.

Does it have a Blurring Effect?
Yes, it instantly blurs out your face and mattifies it. It’s a great mattifying primer that fills in your pores and provides a smooth canvas to work on. If you have oily, combination or even dry skin, you all can use this Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer.
How to Use Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer?
Just squeeze a small amount of this primer and apply it to the areas you want to fill in your pores, mattify or smooth out.
Oily Skin: Use this primer on your T Zone, upper cheeks, lower cheeks.
Dry Skin: You need to use a moisturizer underneath. Use it only on the T Zone and wherever you have any pore issue
Combination Skin: Use this primer on your T Zone.
Lakme Absolute Blur Primer instantly blurred out and brightened my face and fills in the pores. It made my pores less visible and left my face matte, blurred out and baby soft. It has a thick consistency which is more like a whipped consistency. After I apply it, I can instantly see a blurring effect.
I did notice that my foundation glided on smoothly over this primer and did not settle into the fine lines under my eyes. I’ve also applied Garnier BB Cream (which has a dewy finish) over this primer and did not notice my pores as they were quite burred out.
This Lakme Primer has a slight pink tint, not much noticeable, but it does help in brightening up your face. It can be used underneath makeup or even worn alone with moisturizer if you only need to blur out your pores and texture.
Fun Fact: It contains Zinc Oxide which is also known as a physical sunscreen
I have combination to dry skin, so I do moisturize my face prior to application. If you have oily skin, you can totally skip an additional moisturizer. It did not dry out my skin, it just smoothened any bumps or texture on my skin, so people with dry skin can also use it.
I’ve seen that you can totally wear it under your favourite foundation or even a compact and it would totally help it to last longer. But I did not notice that the corners of the nose started to become shiny after around 5 hours and it’s pretty normal, but my makeup did stay put for almost 7-8 hours. It did not fade as it used to without a primer.
Are the Claims True?
Now coming to its claims, it does hide skin imperfections and gives you an even-toned skin, creates the perfect base for make-up and also helps in increasing the longevity.
But it is not waterproof and not mattifying enough.
Do I recommend this Primer?
I highly recommend this primer. It is one of the Best Primers Available in India Under Rs.1000. You should totally get this as it’s always at a discounted price.
Final Verdict:
This Lakme primer is an underrated product that does need good recognition! It instantly blurs out your face or any texture, brightens up and smoothens your skin. This Lakme Primer is cruelty-free too!
